    What HD Videocamera to choose for best combination with a Mac?

    Want to buy a HDV camera, considering Canon HV30. also want to make some editing in iMovie and FCE on a mac. Please, advise what model to choose and other info concerning HD cameras and hd editing on a mac.

    Well, just a heads up that Adobe Premiere CS3 still does not support AVCHD, which is the new HD format for most Sony and Panasonic camcorders. Final Cut Pro and Express have no format issues :). Pick the one you like best! I personally prefer Sony camcorders, but yeah.

    i think HV30 is the best one. i'm not using AP, by the way- advise some video lessons on Final Cut Express.

    i would look at Panasonics AVCHD camera's, how much are you looking to spend, that is the real question.
