The homepod is discontinued because of low sales. WOW. Even apple could not mix enough kool-aid for the fans to buy this one. An expensive speaker, with way less functionality compared to the competition and it never sold? Apple, even your staunchest fans would not even go for that one.

    Good try though.

Apple is too big for its own britches. Gluttony can't be sustained indefinitely. People will get tired of the Apple premium tax. And, don't forget, the Apple expectation for societal behavior.

In all reality, there is no apple tax anymore. Their M1 chipped computers, phones and a few other things are all priced below the competition now. What Apple has now is a huge case of boredom. it's the same old same old. Their OS has been the same since 2006 basically with only a new feature here or there or a new app. It's only now they are starting to give users a bit of customizing freedom with iOS devices. iPhone has basically been the same since the beginning, save for getting farceID and getting bigger. They need to bust the Macbook open with 2 in 1 models with touch and pencil support, give the iMac touch, easel hinges, and pencil support, ditch the NOTCH for a very slim bezel up top and have no chunks taken out of your screen, plus give us true customization of icons and layout on the phone and iPad. Put USB C on everything put touch ID back on the phone and put faceID everywhere else. Ditch the ear wax drip looking earbuds and create something sleek and minimal. They need to break open the watch to give users freedom to download faces instead of being forced to use the few that we can and make a friggin round watch please.
