Ad it has worked great for me so far. There are a few things i want to touch on.

iChat It works great. No problems logging in or out. I was talking to my friend from school and nothing really bad happened so thats good.

iTunes I got al my music and tv shows on here to. Straight from my ipod. Front row is pretty cool. I was watching the Dark Knight trailer and i loved the resolution on the trailer better than youtube.

I bought a carrying case which i pretty nice and soft on the inside, iWork 08, and Apple Care cause my dad is a freak about warrenties.

So far OS X.5 is great for me. Spaces is a wonderful app that i just love to death. The ilife programs are pretty damn good too
    .
I had no problems connecting to my router. I have read that some linksys routers do have a problem connecting but this didnt and it work very fast. Very happy wit it so far. Any widgets i should download? iStat pro mabey. If you guys have any suggestions please tell me. I am also getting used to this keyboard. Its a bit difficult but pounding on the keys really Helps lol.

glad to hear you are enjoying your new machine, I will let Sam post his usual links ^_^

iStat pro is a very nice Widget, make sure to not use a massive amount of widgets as they do utilize small amounts of RAM.

make sure to really go through System Preferences and check everything out, I would definitely get Expose setup to work with Hot Corners, as it is really one of the nicest User Interface features.

and make sure to really get used to using Quicklook, clicking a file and pressing the spacebar, as it might be the best feature in any operating system ever.

yep, in your applicaitons folder or probably in your dock if you haven't re organized it, there will be a program with an icon that well, looks like a Photobooth, haha, very fun App.

also, it is very easy to use your iSight camera in iChat as well, you can also use it in programs like iMovie to capture video of yourself.

    Congrats, mc511! :)

Yes, Photo Booth is the application to take pictures with the iSight. With iMovie HD 6 (not sure if iMovie '08 supports this anymore), you can also record videos with the iSight camera :).

I'd say iStat Pro is a good idea...if you're interested in adding lyrics to all your tracks, there's also a lyrics widget that automatically scans what you're listening to...I don't remember its name, but its pretty popular.

Yeah it is. I like how quiet it is. My alienware would just have the loudest fan ever and it was just annoying. The Battery life is great compared to it cause m alienware was like 1 hour and 15 minutes. So yeah this is good so far. Quiet is niiiicee.
