So I am sitting on my bed with my laptop on a text book. And I hit the bed and it (light to moderate strength with fist) and I hear this like "disk scratch" noise from my MBP...

Is it the hard drive or is it the Super Drive? Is it normal? Should I bring it back to Apple?

Opps never mind. I just did a search. (Stupid me sorry!)

It is basically the Hard Drive being parked to prevent sudden movement shocks. Perfectly normal says other posters in other threads.
