    Hello ladies and gentlemen,
    I tried to watch a DVD in MBP using Apple DVD player; the picture is hazy and not clear. Watching the same DVD in my 4-year-old Dell laptop (Pentium M, 1.5 GHz and 256 RAM) is clearer, brighter and the picture is not hazy too. Having said that, I am very new to the Mac OS, so I am not sure if I need to use another application for watching DVDs or what the problem is !!!

    Does your machine work normally otherwise? No other screen issues? My own MBP display works well and movies look great. I assume resolution is set properly and you've turned up the brightness on your screen.
