I wonder if any of you guys has Warcraft III running in your Macbooks? I donwloaded the demo and it seems to run well, even though it is not an UB yet. I saw some complains about crashes if there is a DivX decoder installed in QuickTime. How is is going for you? I mean running it under OS X, not BootCamp.

BTW, can someone tell how is the gameplay? I usually don't like RTSs much, in fact I suck at them ( my little sister would constantly beat me out at AOE 2 because I simply can't manage resources) but I would like to play an strategy game in the Macbook. I tried Myth II demo as well but it seems very unstable (myth seems more like me, no building/gathering, just go to bussiness). Both are somewhat older games so they can be found very cheap. I wonder if I can buy a PC version of Warcraft III and only download a Binary for OS X at Blizzards or something like it?

I think the OS X stuff is included on the cd, I just mounted my normal WCIII cd and it installed fine.

Haven't tried it on any intel Mac though, so can't help you there, but it should work :)

I tried WC3 TFT the full version, and online, it worked great. The only thing is, that i need a 2 click mouse, I bought the wired mighty mouse lol! And I did this on OSX, it should run better graphics wise on Windows.

It seems to run very fine with the settings maxed out under OS X, I see no need to install Windows just to run it. I have a cheap USB mouse that will do for the time being... but I still suck at the game, couldn't beat the last level of the intro caimpagn! lol :)

I can't group unities (CTRL+number right?) :):EDIT:: now I got that working... it was working from the beginning, not just as I expected) or rotate the screen... (this still doesn't work) well the macbook lacks del/ins keys. Are the keys configurable?
