I recall seeing a few questions about gaming performance on a MacBook. I wanted to report that I can play WarCraft III on an external display running 1680x1050 and maximum graphic settings with perfect performance.

Yeah warcraft 3 isn't a video card intensive game. I was able to play it on my integrated card on my HP notebook when it originally came out. Macbook for games within the last year are basically unplayable. But if you go a few years back then your okay.

Give the GMA950 some respect. I used to play War3 when it just came out on an ancient ATI with 16MB of vid RAM at 1024x768 with all settings on max just fine, and the GMA950 is definitely better than that card.

Im trying to get my external 20inch widescreen to run but it doesnt seem to give me the option to do 1680 by 1050. Could someone tell me how to get the option?
