The GeForce 320M is an, albeit powerful, integrated graphics cards, and like all IGP, don't expect too much.

On the bright side, many report SC2 running fine with 30+ fps on medium/low settings.

Yarr! Here be some websites of interest (and treasure):
MBP 13" Comparison with other laptops
Blizzard recommending 8600M GT or above (GeForce 320m slightly slower than 8600M GT)

Some threads discussion 13" MBP & Starcraft
    1 2 3 4 5 6 7

(Note: The deluded lobsters in Source #5 seem to think the MBP 13 would run SC2 @ med/high fluidly. Take with grain of salt... and scurvy)

Hah. I gave you 2 links + 7 forum threads, didn't read them?
Of the 7 forum threads I gave you, most have mentions from current owners of the 2010 MBP, all started except one started @2010, one started @ 2008

But its OK. It seems you are not competant at using search engines or clicking links, so let me quote.

Keep in mind this is anecdotal.

Now, let us use the simple tools of extrapolation provided by logic:
    (a) We know that it ran well during the beta
    (b) We know that Apple released a patch improving its performance
    (c) Therefore (here, you fill this in yourself)

Ok, well I play SC2 on MBP13 base and I have shaders to Low and the rest to medium/high. If i put my shaders to Medium I get around 16 fps in largeish battles which is for me unplayable. It will run it very well on 30+ fps if shaders are on Low even in big battles - conclusion: MBP13 runs SC2 well if you dont mind cutting down the graphics.

I can test Star Craft 2 on my Macbook Pro 17. I'll use the 9400m and 1280x800 res. If some will post the link to a Mac demo of the game

Super! When you say large-ish battles are you referring to multiplayer games with 1v1, 2v2, etc? Also how did it perform in the mission where the zergs and kerrigan are trying to get to the artifact and you can discharge the artifact to kill all the zergs.

Thanks, but Im only interested in the 13" with 330m.

The 320m and the 9600m are about the same speed.

Hmm...not sure if I have played that level yet. I played the last protoss last stand level and the screen was swarming with zerg and the protoss pwning them with big laser cannons and the fps was still good - didnt notice a slowdown. I have capped my fps at 30 though. I havent played 1v1 or 2v2 battles online yet, so things may obviously change but I think that last protoss level battles is quite a good test especially when they start attacking from 3 sides at once. :)

One thing that you need to be careful of, is when playing protoss u need to disable the fancy animation of the pylons "build radius" thing when u try and place buildings cause that murdered my fps when I had like 15 pylons up.

Ive played it and like most said it runs decent on medium. Its playable on my 13" macbook pro and keeps me entertained while im at the library studying. Dont expect to run this game on great settings but expect to be able to get your game fix while on the move. it doesnt drain the battery too badly either just remember brightness settings as well.

Starcraft 2 runs fine on the 2010 entry level Mac Book Pro. The only down side is the movie quality during the campaign. I would not hesitate to buy the game or a Mac Book Pro. Then again I am not a hardcore gamer.
