They're 12.5mm height drives, rather than usual 9.5mm. Apple uses some pretty tight tolerances, so hard to say right now probably.

I heard most of the older MBP support 12.5mm height, but I can't confirm for the latest gen.

Answered my own question. New MBP is a no go, older ones maybe?

Doing a search on this forum... it seems like only 17" MBPs can take 12.5mm. However, until you can confirm things, take with a grain of salt.

Man if they could get those down to 9.5, that would be a beast.

Reports from TUAW say that these only fit in the current 17" MBPs, not in the smaller 15/13 models.

God if these fit in the current MBP 17... yeah, 1 TB here I come....

Some say it will fit, some say it won't... I swapped hard drives recently but I can't for the life of it remember if there was a lot of room left. I'll maybe just take a peek inside later - should be obvious if there's 3mm room left or not.

Considering how tightly packed the 15 and 13 inch machines are, I'd think there is no way these support 12.5mm.
