hehe. I'm not an American so it makes no difference to me but I read an article recently that said Obama was like a Mac and Clinton was more like a PC and it went into details as to why they thought so... it was an entertaining read. I wish I had the link handy.

I'm sad that Giuliani isn't still running :(

I'll probably end up voting for the home-boy, Romney. He's from Detroit after all.

Edit; and Hillary is like Windows 3.1. An utter pain in my ass to deal with. :D

politics on a computer forum...wow, vote for whoever that is going to resolve all these issues we have. Is either of those two going to resolve all the problems? no, they will be stuffing their own pockets before they think about you. Can't imagine what will the world be like in the next few years. 2012=end of time---Ancient Aztecs

    That video is PRICELESS though.

So... back to being sad about Romney being out. Now I don't doubt my decision to move to Oregon this spring...

I love mine. They are pricey but well worth the money.

My guy Romney is no longer running, and I'm not too thrilled with what is left. It's like having to decide if I want to get stabbed, shot, or thrown off a building. Which ever one I pick I know I'm going to get f@*&!d.

Hm, based on first look, doesn't seem to be so...if not, its pretty well done.

Anyway, even if I could, I do not vote (well, first of all, I'm not America, second, I'm not old enough to :p) based on race, gender, or computer preference :p. But nonetheless, I hope Obama wins for America.

Computer preference could influence me a little, but... I vote based on the key objectives that they do or do not support. (I'm pro choice, support the right to gay marriage, love guns, hate terrorists, hate illegal immigrants, hate religion, hate new taxes to support things I won't use)

Rudy had me with 80% of the key objectives I liked, Mitt was at 70%, and McCain is about 15%. Ron Paul is about 50% as well.

On the dem side, Obama is about 30%, and Hillary is a pure zero.

In short, If it's a race against McCain and Clinton, I might have to drink some Lake Erie water and end it all. :D

You're not America, Sam? But you can be! Just read Stephen Colbert's book :p. Just joking around :D.

The initial reason why I thought it was photoshopped was this thought that came to my head the minute I saw the picture:

"Why is Obama on a "regular people" plane, watching a video on a macbook pro, dancing...on a plane?"

I'm confused. Doesn't McCain hate terrorists, is pro choice and wants to continue with tax cuts? And although he doesn't actively support gay marriage, he's not leaping on the bandwagon to ban it. As for religion, well, considering how much the religious right hates him, I can't imagine him liking them particularly much. All in all, I just found it odd that he matched about 15% of your key objectives. And no, I'm not persuading you to vote for him. I'm just curious.

LOL... Well I'm not a Mac user these days... but personally, design-wise I find Obama's website a little too monotonous and thus... eerie somehow... and I find Hillary Clinton's site a little bit too cacophonous... I think McCain's website strikes a nice middle ground and gets it about right for my taste. (This applies to their website designs only.)

EDIT: The video clips on McCain's site aren't working too well for me though. Wait, now I'm having trouble with Obama's videos too... and YouTube... they were fine before... maybe it's my browser... maybe I should switch to Mac... ;)
ok... I restarted Firefox... the videos are working fine now.

Those were just my primary objectives. I've still got another few dozen of lesser importance, but didn't want a post a mile long ;)

I suppose it's in the same way Hillary got "0%" in my book as well, because some of her negatives just over-ran any positives she had.

Don't put politics in this forum. But since it's here McCain is a Rhino and Hillary and Obama are border line socialists. Both share marxist ideas and want guns confiscated/banned and want re-distribution of wealth.

It's not going to matter much until the next revolution which most of us here won't be alive for, and many of the future generations will die over.

Back to computers. I have a thread to post.
