I have the late 2010 MBP 13 (the last model before thunderbolt).

It came with Snow Leopard, and I had absolutely no issues with that OS. When I upgraded to Lion, I began having video issues (with youtube and one with the screenshot provided). Whatever, I figured it was just because it was 10.7.0, and decided it was because of a few bugs. So, I downgraded to SL, and had no issues whatsoever.

iMessage came out for OSX, and I wanted to give it a try, so again, I went to Lion. Had the same issues (10.7.3) on both upgrade via app store and a fresh install.

    My problems are as follows:

When playing any video online (youtube, other video services), the sound starts playing right away, as it should. The video image itself stutters for a few seconds, then skips right to where the audio is playing (so if the video starts at 0:00, the sound plays normall from 0:00-0:02 and onwards, while the video skips from 0:00 to 0:02)

Secondly, I've noticed this on gawker websites. The picture gets wildly messed up, as shown.

Does this happen to anyone else? Any ideas? I'm thinking its just some software bug that has yet to be fixed, because if it was a hardware issue, it should happen on SL.

flash. i'll try it with HTML5 for a few days to see if it happens. but the thing in the screenshot bothers me too. it doesn't happen in other programs, just browsing the web. not sure about other browsers. will give them a try too.

Well, if it just happens with Chrome, I would chock it up to an issue with that specific browser especially since (I think) Google does their own Flash programming (i.e. no downloading of Adobe's browser plug-in).
