Unfortunately Microsoft doesn't do much to MSN Messenger for Mac...the best that I can recommend is aMSN if you want to webcam support on MSN Messenger (which still isn't very good). iChat and Skype do video chatting better, but they don't support MSN.

I really wish Apple would get up and make iChat compatible with multiple IMs. Its not like keeping MSN and Yahoo out is going to persuade users to switch to AOL. They'll just end up not using iChat.

Yeah, and one of those bugs is that video chatting does not work.

A lot of my friends are using MSN and I do not think that it is possible that I convince them to use skype. Apple must do something about this.

VMware, Windows, MSN live messenger and Mess.be patch.

Only way to go. Even if iChat would work with MSN it would not be as good as MSN live messenger.

It also works well with parallels in coherence mode. And yes apple should get off their ass and do something about this. I tried amsn once, and like the poster, I uninstalled it 5 minutes later. Your only option is pretty much adium, the only polished im client that supports multiple im's.

Hopefully apple will get its act together for ichat 3
