Is there a good mouse out there for OS X? Tracking is pretty bad with the VX revolution. In fact, my new 2.2 ghz/3gb ram/200gb 7200rpm Macbook feels slower than Vista with a MUCH weaker machine.

Vertical scrolling is also RIDICULOUSLY SLOW. WIth the VX revolution's Hyperscrolling, it should go throw documents in less than a second, but for some reason Safari and Firefox just *doesn't want to scroll down* in OS X. This is with all scroll speeds and acceleration maxed out.

Is there a keyboard mapping software for OSX as well, like Keytweak? I want a true "delete" key as well, instead of having to hit fn + delete. Ok is this too much to ask or is OSX just not designed for true power users?

if your problem is the tracking speed of the cursor, try using usb overdrive. It'll let you adjust the mouse speed and acceleration to however you want it.

I use it with my vx on my mbp

I don't notice any problems with my VX revolution and MBP. Do you have the latest drivers installed?

For some reason... most of my complaints have magically gone away. Scrolling is much smoother now, and the tracking is also normal. I didn't change a thing...

Well if it isn't broke don't fix it I guess, but if your problems come back then try the latest drivers if you don't already have them.

thats one complaint i've always had. mice for some reason always feel sluggish in os x compared to XP. every mouse i've ever tried. i always max out the accel etc. but it never really feels as sensative as it does in XP.

you can update the drivers for a mouse in osx? i have mostly logitech mice...
