I am seriously thinking about a Mac. I like the ergonomic Microsoft keyboard that angles out from the middle. Can I use it with a Mac? What about the special Mac keys? Can I create the equivalent on the Microsoft keyboard?

Well, I believe any USB keyboard will work fine on OS X as long as there are drivers for it (check it before you buy). Pretty sure the Apple key will be mapped to the Windows key, etc, so you should be fine. Most mice will work fine with OS X as well, giving you an actual right click if you use one.

I'm pretty sure most Microsoft peripherals are made by Logitech anyway, and they usually have pretty good support for OS X.

Yes, it will work just fine.

Microsoft is actually really good about Mac driver support for their peripherals (mice, keyboards, etc.). Probably doesn't matter so much on the keyboard front, unless you have special controls, etc.

Microsoft does have a Mac-specific keyboard that is supposed to be quite good. You do not actually need drivers either. I use a Logitech G15 which has no Mac drivers and it works just fine.

Speaking of microsoft when's office for mac 07 coming out? I held off on buying office for mac 03 because it wasn't written for the intel macs....if it won't come out for a while, then NeoOffice is fine for the time being though.
