I searched but could not find an answer to this. I need to move several playlists (not the entire library) from one PC to another PC, for my daughter. I have a Mac and a mobile me account and thought that there must be a way to use Idisk to do this. Please let me know if this can be done, and if so how? I'm have some computer knowledge but not as much as the people in this forum.
If there is another way to do this I would be interested to know.

    Thanks.

You could probably do it using iDisk, but it'll take awhile depending on how much music you want to move.

Do you not have a flash drive? How about just burning them to a DVD?

It's only about 200 songs. I don't have a flash drive, how many dvd's would I need? and I can't figure out how to get the playlists on the idisk.

Each DVD can hold about 4.5GB of data. Figure out from there how many you would need! :)

You could also download Backup 3.0 (under Software on your iDisk) and just backup your entire iTunes library to DVD and transfer it over that way (should of thought of this first).

Here's my problem, I have no idea what you just said. I will probably use DVD's to get the job done, but I would love to learn the steps needed to use iDisk. I have logged on to me.com, iDisk but can't figure out how upload playlists from my pc.

If you go into your iDisk, one of the folders there is called "Software". In that folder, you will eventually find a program called "Backup". Install that, and use it to backup your iTunes library on to DVD.

So I found software and a file called backup 3.1.2 DMG. When I try to download, it comes up as real player.
The only other file to download in software is "backup for MAC OS 10.4.2 or later.I don't understand.

Nevermind.......I completely missed that you were trying to go from PC to PC. The Backup software I'm referring to is for a Mac. Sorry for the confusion.

Honestly, I don't use playlists so I've never had to transfer them.

From what I have found out you can't just copy over the playlist, you need to copy the entire library. Playlist don't hold the physical songs the library does.
