Since upgrading to Leopard, my news reader (iGrabNews) no longer works. I am hoping this problem gets resolved soon as I am big fan of that program.

In the meantime, what's another application that I can use to grab files off the usenet? I typically use iGrabNews for downloading TV shows, etc.

    Thanks!

I was in the same situation as you a few days ago. I switched to NZB drop. It seems faster that iGrabNews and looks nicer. Only downside is it cost $22 (but its worth it) and you can try it for 30 days.

I use Unison, and I really like it. Its pretty simple, and it gets the job done. Also seems to use all my my connection speed, which is good.

Thanks for the ideas. There aren't any free programs out there? I'm hesitant to pay for software b/c I'm planning to go right back to iGrabNews once the Leopard problems are figured out.

You can try sabnzb, a lot of people seem to like it. Its kinda like a plugin to firefox, where you control the downloading with an internet browser. Also integrates into some nzb sites.
