I was offered a Kanga-class Powerbook G3 (the original, which came in the older 3400-series case), and since there are some old Mac games I want to play I'm going to be buying it. It's got a 250Mhz G3 processor as standard, but I'm wondering if there is a way to upgrade it by replacing the chip with a more powerful G3 processor. Does anyone know about upgrades for this machine? It was only on the market for a short time.

I believe these processors are soldered to the motherboard and the processors has been discounted in production for such a long time. The processors are also specially designed by Apple, so I dont think that you can find anyone sell it.
