I purchased Office for Mac, don't recall which version but it was the one prior to 2008, with a special deal. First, it was only $120 with $100 rebate, and also upgrading to the 2008 version would only cost $6 or some ridiculous number like that.

Now I'm just wondering, where do I find the information for upgrading it? Is there a time limit for doing it only for $6?

Any kind of information would help. I just don't have the CD with me yet (forgot to pick it up from my friend when I went to the States!) and I'm afraid there might be an expiry date on the offer.

    Thanks.

You should have had a form to fill out and submit to Microsoft (I think they also either requested the front cover of the Office 2004 for Mac manual that came with your copy, or something else from the box). I forget the time limit, but I purchased my copy of 2004 on Nov. 23rd (got the $100 rebate in about 2 weeks ago) and received my copy of 2008 on Thursday last week.

I read different dates than what diggy posted. The Mail In Coupon is attached.

Thats strange; I got those dates from the link you provided. Oh well though - hope you can get the upgrade. I installed it, and save for Word starting slowly, it seems to run pretty good.

Yes, that's what I'm looking for, thanks. But then again, is the deadline feb. 14th or in April? If it's Feb. 14th, then I'll have to ask my friend to ship the package to me expedited, which will probably run me $50 or something...
