    Hi Guys,

Just to the people who replied to my threads earlier. I decided to purchase a Black Macbook (the one in my sig) and also a 20" Dell monitor with apple keyboard and logitech mouse.

Thanks a lot in helping me make my decision.

However, in this thread I would like to ask whether it is possilbe to upgrade the Hard drive in my macbook to the 320GB 2.5" HDD in the link below:

It is true that any 2.5" HDD will fit into the Macbook? Also does it have to be SATA or ATA?

Yes no problem, you can upgrade your macbook with the 320 GB hard drive. It has to be Serial ATA=SATA and any 2.5" HDD will fit. Enjoy your macbook.

I have done the hdd upgrade on my two mb's using the 250Gb wd passbook external hdd's. They are often the same price or cheaper than the standard drives. Its quite easy to safely pry the plastic case open swap the drives, and now you have a cute little external for backups/timemachine !
So far I have had no issues with either of the replacement drives, speed is good, and they have been very stable.
