To do this, do I do it in Bootcamp or download them on OSX and then they are installed next time that I load up bootcamp. I ask because last time I did, it stoped all my hotkeys, sound, and backlight keyboard. So yeah. Thanks guys.

Download from where?? I searched Apple's site and couldn't find any updated bootcamp drivers, but I'd love to know if they exist. I've been stuck with using the bootcamp drivers from the OS X disc.

I must be using newer drivers, because those listed in the downloads section are dated April 24, 2008! More than a year old, and the new nvidia platform came out after that...

Out of the box, the Bootcamp 2.1 drivers are pretty buggy for Vista

    1. Sound driver is fubared. You need to download that directly from Reaktek.com.tw
    2. Wifi Driver is fubared, it takes up way too much CPU usage for it to be acceptable.
    3. The KBDmgr Bootcamp tray icon has a memory leak it causes unnecessary DPC calls to the NTKernal. It's horrible if you are playing video or sound.

To fix these, you need to get the working drivers. I'll need to dig up those links which solved 95% of the problems in Vista 32bit.

Ya those were all things that I saw D3X. I am so far just sticking with the original bootcamp drivers that I had when I installed bootcamp. Works great so far...

Sorry Luke I have to disagree. I went back to Vista after trying Windows 7. It was too buggy for me. And I don't think there is a thing wrong with Vista. I think it still has a bad wrap from back when it was released. Its fine now. But that just my opinion.

Try playing some music(if the sound works), if there is audio cracking every 20 secs or so, that should be the WIFI driver.

2.1 has been fine for me on vista 64. I haven't checked to see if there is a memory leak, though I have worked in Vista for hours in PS and Indesign without noticing any drop in performance.

And no sound or wifi issues that I know of.

vista has been using too much of my resources while virtualising. win7 rc is perfect for me(both natively and virtualising). i don't know where you went wrong but i've got no issues at all concerning windows 7 but if you are at ease with vista, then you've got no reason to switch.

64bit doesn't have the same issues as 32bit.
