    C2D is nice, but whats nicer is watching those plain old CoreDuo macs go down in price at Apple refurb. Amazing prices for those who know that Core2Duo isnt that big a deal, especially for "low end" notebooks.

    Save that money and put it towards memory and groceries.

    That is a very good deal for the 1.83. The new 1.83 won't be noticeably faster than the Core Duo. And I just noticed the price on the black, WOW!

    How long before the new c2d macbook refurbs are available? Any guesses? They should follow the same $100 off scheme right ? I'm interested in the black one for $1300. I hope it becomes available before december, I dunno how long I can be patient!

    It's hard to say if they'll wait till the CD refurbs are gone or not. I think they'll have to be out at least for a few weeks before they start having refurb units.
