I've used Unarchiver and Stuffit Expander.
I prefer Stuffit, as I have had RAR files that Unarchiver claimed were damaged and unusable, and Stuffit expanded them just fine.

Unarchiver also has trouble with password protected files quite often.

What file formats do you need? There's built-in native zip-support and the rest should be handled by Unarchiver.
