    Here's a rather silly question:

How do I unmount something, trash the disk image that it came in and empty the trash all at once, preferably in only 1-2 clicks?

Even better, how do I mount a dmg, drag the auto-find the app package in the image, drag it to my Applications folder, auto-click "yes" to replace if necessary, unmount the image, trash the dmg, and empty the trash all in one go?

I swear I repeat this process 20 times a day.

Try looking at Automator. It is a GUI drag and drop for AppleScript and included with your Mac. Basically you can make an Action or Plug-in that will do those things. I took a quick look at saw that "Move to trash" and "Eject Disk" were in there, so I think you will find that is the way.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you'd need an automator action. Be careful though, as if you always empty the trash after ejecting a disc image, you could accidentally delete something you wanted.
