From all the problems i am hearing, from this forum and other forum about the New Unibody Macbook Pro I don't know when to buy one? I currently own a Dell Xps m1530 which is quickly deprecating so I want to get rid off it. So when will Apple have these problems fixed?

What problems are you referring to? I have one, and aside from the glossy screen which is not something that is going to be subtly fixed, I don't think there are any outstanding issues with the machine.
The trackpad just had a firmware update and the HDCP issue also had a release (although I still think HD downloads wrapped in FairPlay require HDCP). -
There have been some reports of the trackpad not working properly (as in not all clicks were registered) - which has been fixed.
Although I've never had this problem to begin with.
Other than that, there seems to be a problem with Macbooks playing Warcraft 3 for some reason, Apple still doesn't know if it's a hardware or software problem.
My new Macbook Pro has no issues what-so-ever. -
Late 2008 Macbook Pro HIDDEN PERFORMANCE DEFECT
MacBook Pro (late 2008 unibody) runs extremely hot when running XP via BootCamp
unibody MBP fails to sleep with lid open?
Changing trackpad behaviour
Will Apple Ever Get It Right?
Schizophrenic MBP sound issues
Fan noise or hard drive noise?
Colors on display are... fading?
Wireless card is acting flaky
Cricked Keys
Noise from the screen(?) when scrolling
And all of these were on the first page on the Macbook/Macbook Pro Category!
Dead pixels, easily scratched aluminum, keys wearing quickly. -
With respect to the hidden performance defect, I believe that's referring to underclocking the CPU when on AC power only. I don't think the MBP is the only laptop to do this, so I don't see that as much of an issue. Trackpad issues, like cdnalsi said, have been addressed, and I've seen no issues what-so-ever with respect to hard drive or fan noise. In fact, I've been amazed that the laptop runs cool and quiet while watching 480p on hulu, something that used to kick up the fans on my previous generation MacBook Pro in an instant.
