Hey guys. I got a Unibody Macbook but the preferences that say "Bettery Battery Life", etc. are gone. They are now replaced with just when I want to put the computer to sleep etc. Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal. It's just been a change in the OS. IE: if you want the "better battery life", then you need to lower the time it takes your computer/HDD to go to sleep. ;)
