    For those of you who bought the new uni body macs, how long do you intend to use it before switching?? What's your guys usual life cycle of laptops?

    I just went to check out the new macs today, they looked pretty good but I can't say it was a tremendous difference from the Penryn refresh....the LED screen looked a bit sharper but thats it.

    i'm a bit of a technology-aholic, so i'll probably sell this about a week before the original 1 year warranty runs out and "re-up" with whatever is awesome and available at the time :)

    that being said, i'm a pro at minimizing any loss in price by dealing locally so i can usually swing this lifestyle pretty cheaply.

    Not specific to Unibody MBP . I'm hardly use any electronic stuff more than 1 year.

    I had a Sony SZ320 for 6 months, a SZ650 for an year and I'll keep my MBP until something prettier comes out.

    I'll be keeping this Aluminum Macbook untill the legs fall off of it. That's to say because I don't have the funds right now to keep up to date on electronics because of school. I know it will last a long time though.
