This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     We'll currently i work at Best Buy;

    I'm looking at buying a Macbook Pro 15.4" or the new Asus G51VX(i know about the temp readings).. But my main concern is i do like to game alittle bit.. and im unsure as to what macbook pro to buy b/c there are tons of them on best buy's website...

    I'm heading to college for electrical engineering, and was wondering which one do you guys think would be a better fit for a semi gamer who loves to play games like WoW and diablo 3 and starcraft 2 lol :")

    well you can play WoW on OS X, so you probably wouldnt need to go into windows as much as you would if you liked to play lets say, alot of Valve games or Crysis for example

    Blizzard doesnt make their games very graphically intensive, so if you really like the mac, i would say go for it.

    You'll be fine with SC2 and Diablo III on the new Macbook Pros.

    But then again, you'll get the "get the Mac" opinions here, and I'm sure you'll get the "get the Asus" reply if you post this topic in the Asus section...
