Well, it's finally revealed. I think the likelihood for this being real is pretty high since this seems to be very organic (right word?) and not some perfect marketing shot that can be easily brought into Photoshop.

And what the heck is up with that touchpad? A Multi-touch touchpad might be a nice feature, but it doesn't look very visually appealing, especially with that huge unibutton.

EDIT: Seems it's been posted in the Multi-Touch thread so I guess further discussion should go there.

That multi-touch trackpad is gonna be a pain...what if you have chubby hands.

That seems to be spreading like wildfire. I am not convinced. It doesn't really look Apple enough. Plus a giant button?

yeh, the button makes no design sense, but the touch pad can be programed to recognise the difference between a palm and finger. it's not that hard surely. I think the wide touchpad could work, for what purpose i dont know.

Good grief people. More fake than anything. You can even see the shadow exactly half-way across the trackpad, showing the splicing!

Fake as all hell. The shadow on the touchpad is completely wrong (lighter in the middle...). Besides, would Apple really make a notebook with a touchpad the size of a small continent?

People said all this when the "fat nano" pictures were leaked too... they would never do that design, it's not Apple-like, etc.

Yes, but this is a photoshoped pic. And really... could you believe apple making a laptop wiht a massive button like that? The whole input bar... panel, whatever you want to call it, is not the mouse/trackpad.

I think most of us are expecting the ultra portable, as I believe LG had claimed they were working with apple on making one... BUT this not what any of us expect. I believe the ultra portable will be without an optical drive.

Regardless, I think we are all very excited to see what macworld will offer!

Yea, but the fat nano pics didn't have a photoshop splice line running down the middle of it....I mean seriously, this isn't even a good photochop....
