    Hey everyone,

I'm having some issues with my MacBook's USB hub. I have the macbook from 2007 I believe that has 2.0GHz and 1GB of RAM. WHenever I connect my iPhone to the USB port to sync, it pops up with this dialog box that says that my iPhone is drawing too much power and thus the USB hub will be deactivated.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to correct it?

    Thanks in advance

This could happen if its hooked up to a USB hub. If you plug it straight into the computer you shouldn't have a problem.

Also obviously if you have an outboard power supply for your USB hub connect that and it should solve the problem.

Note too that not all MacBook and MacBook Pro USB ports have been created equal; depending on the model and age some ports may be "low power" and some full power; if you plug in directly and get a power warning simply try another port(s).

I'm not using a USB hub I'm directly connecting to my macbook and I've tried both USB ports...
