The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. Things to play with while waiting if you're going to do a clean install anyway:

    1. Omniweb 5.6 has been officially released and is Leopard compatible.

    2. NVIDIA beta drivers 167.26 are out for 32-bit OS's (both XP and Vista). Substantial performance increase and overclockable (although I didn't confirm this myself).

    3. Some of you, like me, might decide to make an application list so you actually remember what you have installed. This site might make your life easier.

Alternatively you could just use System Profiler too.

    4. Orbicule Undercover is not compatible with Leopard. If you do an upgrade install of Leopard, it'll still be there but it won't work. If you do a clean install, it'll be erased. Orbicule will release v2.0 with Leopard support and provide instructions on how to upgrade from either situation. In other words, if you were depending on this for security, be extra careful.

    5. The November 2007 version of DirectX 9.0c has been released for those of you still using XP.

    6. If you've manually updated NVIDIA drivers in Boot Camp, remember to uninstall them before updating the new Boot Camp drivers.

    7. Reset and uninstall smcFanControl.

    8. Backup all your preferences and data.

    9. Watch this if you know what DOA and FF are: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/115884.html
Try to be age 18+ if you're squeamish
