Not sure if this should be in the oftware forum???
Want to transfer music, playlist and from PC to MBP. Apple has an article on there site, using the ipod for transfer, but after following the instructions it just transfered all songs to the library and did not setup the playlist from the PC. Apple confirmed that I should be able to do this. If anyone knows how to do this I would appreciate the help.

    Article from Apple

    hi

I haven't looked at the article but if you have transferred the songs ok you should be able to export the playlists as .xml files.

Select file Export As... then export each playlist as an xml file, then import that file onto your MBP.

This is how I back up my playlists on MBP, I assume it is also possible on PC iTunes but could be wrong :)

er no, you can export an xml file e.g. to a memory stick. then import it to your mac.

if you have hundreds of playlists I guess it would be a PITA, I only posted in case you wanted a workaround.
