This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Transfer Music from iPhone 2G to PC?

    Title pretty much sums it up - are there any free programs that do this? My hard drive recently died and only some of my music was backed up on a portable hard drive - as of now, some of my music can only be found on my iPhone. A google search yields mainly paid programs, limited trials (e.g., that will only do a certain number of songs), and programs that will transfer the songs, but give them strange file names, which makes it very difficult to reorganize my iTunes library.
