Hard to say...Apple certainly has the technology (multi-touch), but depends if they think its worth implementing it onto Macs.

Worth noting that 9to5 Mac (which has been pretty accurate lately) did note back a month ago that the rumoured new MacBook has an "interesting trackpad, can't explain".

Yeah that would be a very interesting idea...I wonder how they would implement it into their systems...

Then there wouldnt be a need for a traditional laptop...meaning screen separate from keyboard...it would be like a half-inch or probably much thinner leaflet type laptop and a keyboard UI like the iPhone and iPod Touch...but this leaflet type device....it sounds familiar to me...thats because its the same concealed type of device Bill Gates has mentioned in more than one interview...a device the size of a regular piece of binder paper but its a full multi-touch interface and it has wifi/etc...he's mentioned how students could have all of their books in it or something....but regardless this idea sounds promising.

I agree very strongly with what vaio2k7 said. I wish this would've been implemented earlier when I bought my macbook :p

Implemented earlier? This sort of thing is still like 2-3 years away, unless its going to be some surprise!

Things like this make me say "but, when that comes out, I'll have already have a new notebook, and then I'll want that new Apple software!" It's hard, because I like some apple tweaks and some (more) PC tweaks
