Has anyone seen this? I upgraded my hard drive, and did a Time Machine restore to the new drive. Everything works fine, except Trash. My .Trash folders did not exist, creating them and rebooting did not help. It does NOT see the hard drive as a removable device... but no matter what I do, it wont use Trash, anything I hit delete on gives a warning that it will be immediately deleted and cannot be recovered...

    any ideas?

ok anyways.. I just deleted all the .Trash and .Trashes on my machine, did a permission repair, then rebooted, and it recreated everything and worked. I guess my mistake was manually making the folders.
