Hi all,
I have noticed that my time machine has not backed up since the 30th. It keeps saying there is a backup scheduled but does nothing.
The only thing I can think of was that I changed the Laptop name following advice from another forum with regards a Time Machine issue.
Any ideas?

1. You did not plug in the hard drive you use to back up?
2. Changing computer name might affect the backup. If you look into the backup volumn, in side the backup folder you'll see a folder with your computer name.
Try running Time Machine without plugging in the backup drive, a dialog will show up asking whether you want to re-configure your time machine. -
Yeah I told TS it was a new device. Seems to have fixed it I hope

Guys, i am still having issues here with TS. I have re-formated my Lacie drive, I can force a backup, but TS wont backup automatically at all.
Any ideas? -

What is the Partition Scheme of your external drive? You can check this with Disk Utility. Select the drive in the left pane. It should be GUID (for Intel Macs).
Also, Time Machine does not automatically backup while on battery power.
