Hey gals/guys, I was wondering if there is anyone running bootcamp, and if so any of you equipped with the mbp 2011 with thunderbolt port, could run the aida64 software, and post some screenshots of the pci devices.

What we are trying to do is to see if there is:

    1) the gpu mux
    2) if there is a description of what channels the thunderbolt port uses.

I have run on my mbp 2011, and I could see that there was a mux, however I bought this model last week, and that left me wondering if there were any changes since the 2011 models were released

Is Aida64 not showing anything for your chipset's north/southbridge? That's where the pci-e lines are connected. Another way of doing it would be to install, then boot Setup 1.x and take a screenshot or photo of the Status window like this. Thats the x1/x2/x4 lanes off the Southbridge.

good news and bad news, lets start with the bad news:

I cant still read the thunderbolt port via aida64, either via the southbridge nor the pci devices

My cat still jumps on my lap while Im working at home.

And I couldnt run the link that you asked me to. Installed, but the grub wont run. Tell me If Im doing something wrong.

    The good news:

Ports 1,2,3 are filled, that means that the ports 4-8 are free, thus raising the possibility of they being in sequence.

what I need to do is to install some updated firmware since I know that thunderbolt works in windows, will do after I install refit so that I can boot from usb, thus install my copy of windows (this is still the beta build 7000)
