Hi all,
Is there any subwoofer in MB Pro 15" 2.53 mid 2009? If yes where is it?

I hope you are aware that notebook subwoofers are a joke. A pair of decent $30 headphones or speakers will sound a lot better than a 17" Dell with a "subwoofer".
That said, no the MBPs have never had a built in subwoofer, and probably never will. If you are worried about audio quality on the move, just buy yourself a pair of good Shure or Sennheiser headphones. -
thank you, I asked because I think the audio output from L and R speakers are not balanced, Right is a bit louder, although the volume setting is balanced.

Are you experiencing imbalance in every app? If so, go to System pref>Sound, and there you can change the balance settings of the speakers.

Done, It wasn't effective...

Actually, the Unibody MBPs do have a subwoofer (or what they consider to be a subwoofer). iFixit has a guide on how to remove it along with the speakers.
