    Hey,

I have a question about the screen on my Macbook Pro. I’ve just noticed a dead/stuck pixel on my screen. Looking at it the individual pixel, it looks like it might bleed. Hopefully that’s not the case. This Macbook was purchased in September, for those who are interested.

    I've attached a photo.

Any tips on what to do?

    Thanks again.

I'm pretty sure that's not a dead/stuck pixel. If it were, the entire sub-pixel would be dead/stuck, not just part of it.

My MBP has this exact problem in the top right corner. From some light research, Apple seems to have a problem with getting dust in their LCD panels.

Due to this, don't do any of the "stuck pixel" tricks such as "massaging" or "rubbing" the screen, as you could damage it with that dust particle.

    Hey coyoteunknown,

I agree with you on that one. It just doesn't look like a dead pixel upon closer inspection, but it looks too big to be a normal speck of dust. Not sure what it is. I wonder if there's a solution.
