I for one am still waiting for Leopard to be included before I buy a new MBP. I just want the new features, especially having Bootcamp preinstalled. In addition, waiting until October will mean that I will get roughly a MBP with LED screen from the 20th week of production, which should be enough time to work out any early bugs in the new screen and graphics card. I am sure there aren't any, but just to be safe. Besides, my Macbook is still very capable and I only play games on my desktop.

    Kudos to you, good sir.

Good point, but someone has to go first. I'm just waiting to read some reviews.

this is basically just a spec. update. Its considerable- but there aren't really going to be any bugs- except

that LED screen might have some kinks in it. i dont know about that.

The new graphics card / santa rosa platform / more memory aren't going to cause any issues though.

In fact, the new components are probably going to remove any remaining heat issues and extend battery life somewhat.

I still want it to have a user replaceable HD like the Macbook. Then I would really like the MBP. I also wouldn't mind a 14" screen, as the 13.3" seems a little to small and the 15" is a little to big.

It would be nice to have Leopard right away. But I need a new laptop pretty soon, so I can't wait for Leopard. Is it easy to upgrade to a new OS X?

Yeah, it's really easy to upgrade the Mac OS. Insert DVD, restart, follow instructions, click buttons, and wait about 1/10 the amount of time it would take to upgrade Windows. A baby monkey could do it.

I'm waiting for Leopard before I buy my next Mac. I always look at it as a $129 discount if you wait for the OS instead of buying a system now and then buying the OS when it's released later this year.

Leopard has me all jazzed up.
