    Start Up Issue! help!

    so my macbook has been running a little slow lately, I'm not sure if this has anything to do with my start-up trouble though. yesterday the battery was a little low so I plugged it in. I opened it later when it was fully charged and it was off so i assumed it had run out of battery earlier. i tried to turn it on and it just started making a lot of noise but nothing else happened. this was last night around 9pm and this morning at 10am it is still in the same condition. I have no idea whats wrong with it and no idea what to do. any suggestions?
