The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Some website won't open on My mac but do on my PC?

    Works for me on FireFox 3. Are you using Safari, FireFox, or what? It may be a flash player problem, or just a missing plug-in. ;)

    Works fine for me in Safari... Maybe it's a problem with your internet connection.

    I've tried firefox and safari neither work.

    It can't be my internet connecting because it works on my other PC witch is windows.

    Review your proxy settings? Clear out the DNS cache?

    Maybe not your internet but it definitely may be your router. If it's configured by your PC especially if I.E. was used it's optimized for that. Check your router or consider another one. I had no issues with those websites and I have Safari.
