So if I get a buzzing noise coming from the right hand side (near the top by the delete key) under the keyboard of my MBP what would this be? I thought it was a electrical type hum but the more I hear it the more it sounds like it could be a fan hitting something. It's been like that since day one (had it for 3 weeks). It's not annoyingly loud but it's annoying knowing it's there. Anyone else had this and had something done about it that can give me some info?

Na, mine's not affected by adjusting the brightness of the screen, it's just a consistant 'whirr' while the machine is on.

There is a fan right there (and another on the other side), so it could be the fan I suppose. Not sure if it's a concern really, but if it's bothering you, you might want to take it in to a store and show them it and see what they can do.
