    I just got a free G4 laptop, so I don't have a manual and I have a few questions.

    1. I notice sometimes the ring around the charger that plugs into the laptop goes from green to orange, and I assume orange means it's being charged? Sometimes the light will go from orange to green, and the laptop is off and I don't touch it, is there a problem with this? Also, whether the laptop is plugged in or not, the batterylife in OS X says 0%, and sometimes randomly shuts off so I think that's a bad sign.

    2. I read online that the button on the battery is to show the status of the batterylife, but when I press or hold it doesn't do anything, do I have to hold it for a certain ammount of time?

    3. Can someone point me to a guide to install boot camp?

I don't know about the first two, but a powerbook g4 uses ibm's old powerpc processors, and boot camp only works with the newer version of macs that come with intel processors, so I'm afraid you are sol.
