Hi everyone,
I know since rev2 of Apple's unibody MBPs, that the ExpressCard 34 slot was removed in favor of an SD card slot. My question is, has anyone figured out how to still get eSata support for these newer unibody models (2009 and 2010), as the conventional methods in previous models would have been through ExpressCard 34 to eSata adapters.
Also, does the SD card slot on the 2010 MBPs support the new SDXC format?
And lastly, any thoughts on what an AMD CPU/GPU chipset would do for future MBPs in terms or price and/or performance?
Also, any news on USB3.0 support for future models?

as for SDXC.. I'm thinking no... but not sure

according to that link, it does support cards greater than 32gb, but it doesnt do exFAT... so most likely SDXC won't work.
AMD, unless they have some new tech up their sleeves... would be bad for Apple. They'd have a decrease in processor performance and a decrease in battery life... they might be good for Xserves. -
Cool thanks. I thought eSata was faster than Firewire or USB, so I assume an adapter like that will be limited to Firewire/USB speeds respectively
