Can I install it in Bootcamp with my 07 SR MBP or not? So many conflicting reports...

I know the 32-bit version of Vista works well. Some have tried the 64-bit, but needed to hunt down some drivers for some of the hardware. It wouldn't hurt to try, if you got time on your hands and a high level of patience. :p

Exactly, drivers. This is the problem with installing Vista 64 on any computer, driver support. Honestly it really is not worth the extremely small performance boost in my opinion.

Very true Cashmonee. On my desktop I have 4 GB of memory but had a bunch of driver issues with Vista. So I decided to go to Vista 32-bit for the time being until things settle down.

On the negative side, I miss that 1 GB of memory that Vista 32-bit can see, but not use. :(

Well, drivers aren't the problem, since they're out.

There's something about SP1 having an EFI update that makes it difficult to boot Vista 64 SP1 DVD's on pre-2008 Macbook Pro's. Anyone know anything about that?
