    Lol, yeah. I'm back @ the apple store now picking up an hdmi/dvi cable. and i'm posting from the store's laptops...

    You can probably get HDMI cables cheaper from other electronic stores.

    The new iMacs seriously look awesome after seeing it in-person today. It makes the old iMac look like a toy :p.

    An HDMI adapter for $20 from the Apple Store? Are you sure it's not a DVI to Video Adapter?

    The cable I got is a 6 foot cable (about 2 meters) that on one end has a DVI connection and the other end is an HDMI connection. $19.95, from the Apple store here. Its not an Apple branded cable, its actually made by a company called Extreme HD.

    That's exactly what we are talking about. You purchased a DVI-HDMI adapter. It's not the same thing as an HDMI cable.
