I finally upgraded to snow leopard and noticed that when I zoom into the screen, I can't move the zoomed-in portion of the screen around like I did in Leopard. Is there a way to enable movement?

    Thanks! :)

do you mean the zoom you get when you press CTRL and then do the two-finger slide zoom up/down with the touchpad?

I can't remember how it worked previously but in Snow it auto-scrolls now whenever my cursor reaches the edges of the display. Is that not how it worked before? I can't remember as I'm still pretty new to the Mac and didn't use that feature much.

i like it scrolling on edge of display.. the constant moving when the mouse moves stinks...

if you go into Preferences... to Touchpad (or some mouse options and stuff depending on your machine), there are Zoom Options and you can select how you want it to behave.

The one thing that has always bugged me about zoom, is that there is no way to switch between the two modes in the fly, like by doing control+shift+scroll to go into the oposite mode for the few times I would need it.

Meh, oh well. Glad you got it fixed! Time to update your sig ;p
