I heard of others who purchased sleeves made for previous (non-unibody) 15" MPBs and found it would not fit the Unibody case. Can someone who has one provide info on a sleeve that perfectly fits the unibody 15" MBP?

    Thanks

    The Tucano Second Skins
    Waterfield Cases ( www.sfbags.com)
    Shinza Zeroshock III 15.4"
    Booq Taipan
    Incase Neoprene Sleeve
    Radtech Notebook Sleevz

I have tried the above with the 15" Unibody and they fit perfectly.

I had a pre-unibody Macbook Pro, just had it replaced with the unibody MBP.

I have been using my original InCase Neoprene sleeve, and yes it does fit in it, but the zippers on the sides will rub against the MBP as you slide it in and out. I have ordered a pelican case because I want some better protection anyways.

As far as sleeves that do fit perfectly, if you want a soft sleeve there are quite a few around, the Booq Taipan skin is a good one. If you want a hard sleeve, Axio is developing one for the new unibody and Pelican has good hard cases.

Moshi just released their new Codex cases. Anyone order one or come across any reviews? I like the idea of using my notebook in the case while maintaining airflow, but it's fairly pricey.

EDIT: I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I have no self control.

Any idea when the Axio hard sleeve will be available. I'm close to giving up waiting. I've contacted Axio a few times over the last 6 months since the unibody MBP's were launched and they won't even give me an estimated release date.

I had a Booq Vyper for my white MacBook, but the Axio seems better.

It just seems stupid risking my MBP getting damaged while I wait an eternity for the Axio.

Those are great protection! My brother has one for his Unibody Macbook, and it protected it from at least 4 scratches already, over a month of use. ;) BTW, CanadianDude, were you ToshibaDude before?

Nice! That fits better... Well, mabye MacbookProDude fits as well! :D

Back on topic: The Incase neoprene sleeve is a great sleeve and has a very soft/nice fabric on the inside, to protect your Unibody MBP perfectly. ;) I have one for my Macbook and it's great, and fits nice and snug. I'd strongly recommend one, but they are $35 USD.
