I've been having an odd problem lately, and was wondering if anyone was having the same issue or had any advice for me.

When I'm in Windows mode, and the computer goes to screen saver or to sleep, it "forgets" the brightness level when I move the mouse or hit a key to bring it back. The brightness is all the way at the lowest setting. Oddly, once I hit the brightness up or down key, it will remember what it was at and go back to almost full brightness (my usual setting).

Anyone know why this might be, and how I can fix it so that it will wake from sleep mode at the correct brightness setting?

Just figured out that this issue extends further. I can adjust brightness with my F1 and F2 keys, like in Mac OS, but after a few seconds, the screen will revert back to full brightness, no matter what I do. I also can adjust the brightness through the Boot Camp control panel, but, again, after a few seconds, it goes all the way back to full brightness. I'm very confused now...

Are you using Laptopvideo2go drivers? I noticed that after installing them, the brightness does not work like it should. It doesn't change every few seconds for me, but if I start or stop any full screen application the brightness will go to max, then pressing any brightness button will revert it to what it was at. I think it's just something to do with not having the apple drivers.

Hmm, I am using laptopvideo2go drivers, maybe that's it. I would have a tough time giving up that performance, though......

Anyone else had this issue with the drivers?
