    Skype letting me call my mobil phone for no charge?

    I got a buddy to install skype so now we're using it. The website says there should be a fee for calling numbers but I dialed my cellular phone and it rings. I have never entered any credit card info or anything though.

    Almost 0 hours of calling at SkypeOut Global Rate.

    Balance expires September 16, 2007

    .12 is the balance

    What does it mean it will expire on september 16th 2007?! I'm confused

    That is indeed strange. SkypeOut required you to pay before calling cell phones or land lines. Weird.

    From the skype site. "Download Skype now and get five minutes of calls to anyone in the top 30 destinations around the world." That's probably where those free calls came from.
